Introducing the Coexist Creators Programme

Every powerful conservation movement begins with a story.

Whether captured through film, photography, writing or digital media, stories have the ability to connect people with places and species they may never experience firsthand.

Building on the success of the annual WhyCoexist? competition, Coexist Projects is launching the Coexist Creators Programme—a year-round initiative designed to support emerging creators who use storytelling to inspire greater understanding of our oceans.

The programme will provide opportunities for collaboration, mentoring, promotion and long-term engagement with conservation organisations and marine scientists.

Rather than ending with a single competition, the programme creates an ongoing community where talented storytellers can continue developing their work while helping conservation organisations reach wider audiences.

By investing in creators, Coexist Projects aims to strengthen one of conservation’s most valuable tools: the ability to inspire people to care.
